The Tower

At about 200 meters from the main edge of the woods, stands the “Torre del Brigante” dating back to 1300 AD and declared of historical and architectonical interest.

Completely built of local stone and restored following a specific project for the historical building, approved by the Ministry of Culture and still maintains its medieval charm.

Tourists who wish to reside in the Tower, they can choose between two apartments, both obtained three-room, each with a bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a living room with sofa bed and kitchenette masked in a closet, a bathroom with shower and air conditioning.

The apartment called “Fox” is situated on the ground floor and has a private outdoor space and partly covered by a roof. Through an external stone staircase leads to the first floor, the apartment named “Falcon, “which has access to the terrace overlooking partially covered by a gazebo, with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

Both apartments are elegantly decorated and keep the details in stone typical of thestructure, such as the head of the bed and shower. The tower is situated on a hill to the left of the main house and is surrounded by olive trees, almond trees, prickly pearand a wide area protected by the WWF Mediterranean vegetation and considered a natural park.

Of particular value is the recovery of the courtyard, enclosed by a dry stone wall, and that of the Colombaia, in Puglia remained a rare example: it appears as a striking circular building with a hemispherical coverage of Byzantine influence, which was originally used for the training of racing pigeons.

Guests may have access to the structures of the Agriturismo Montepaolo: lawn, swimming pool, playground and restaurant.

Cleaning and linen change once a week.
